White Sage Smudge Stick

 An old tradition, along with a litany of controversy about belief, medicinal, meaning, and hope; is smudging.  White sage, specifically, is called for in the act of cleansing a space from the old and sealing in the new.


  


 Seal the house, light a sage bundle, and go from window to window, door to door, from the top down to rid yourself of old spirits and seal in the new.   Open the space after to allow any smoke to dissipate (hint:  don't smudge the smoke alarm) and enjoy the cleansing feeling.
